What is your Facebook business page username URL?

Your Facebook username URL is the “address” where Google can find you on Facebook. When you start a new business page, although you have named your page, Facebook assigns you a username which is typically a sequence of numbers. It’s important to change this to a suitable username that matches your page name. This helps search engines like Google or Bing, find your page.

For example my Facebook page username URL is: https://www.facebook.com/feltoncreative/

Using my Felton Creative Facebook Page as an example. Here you can see where you would typically see a website address. Eg: I have circled it in RED in the picture. My username URL is /feltoncreative

Follow my step-by-step guide

On Desktop Computer:

1. Go to your FB Business Page

2. Top right corner click on picture to get the drop down menu

3. Choose from drop down menu > “settings and privacy”

4. Choose > “settings”

5. Navigate to the left side and choose > “page setup”

6. Here you will see what your current username is. Change it to what you want and save it.

Note: Facebook will tell you if its not available. So keep trying until you find a suitable option that is available.
